I was in one of my local charity shops the other day and I picked up a couple of books which caught my eye. Now in the charity shops near me I'll be lucky to see anything I like because I find the books to be of a certain taste which most certainly isn't mine. But I got "
The Good Thief" by Hannah Tinti and "
Mister Monday" by Garth Nix on a whim for £1 each, and they sounded just my cup of tea so we'll see what I think of them both.
I've also been wanting the "
Song of Ice and Fire" series box set by George R.R. Martin for a while now so I thought, why not, while I have a little bit of extra money to be spending. This is going to take me
ages to get through so I'm looking forward to keeping myself busy for at least a year due to the fact that I don't like reading books in a series one after the other.
